Samuel Tallman

Sam currently concentrates his practice in all aspects of commercial litigation.  He has extensive experience litigating complex cases pending in both state and federal courts.  His experience encompasses a broad range of matters including construction, business torts, fraud, contracts, insurance, employment, real estate, and class actions. 

Sam is involved in all aspects of his cases including managing discovery, preparing and arguing dispositive motions, taking and defending depositions, representing clients during settlement conferences and mediations, and actively participating in both arbitrations and trials. 

Prior to joining Fuchs & Roselli, Ltd., Sam worked at a law firm focusing on a variety of civil litigation matters. Additionally, prior to moving back to Chicago, Sam honed his trial skills working as a deputy district attorney in Colorado.  During his time as a prosecutor, Sam first-chaired over a dozen jury trials, and conducted countless other motions and evidentiary hearings.

Sam attended the University of Colorado where he received his B.A. in History and Political Science.  He then went on to receive his J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.  Sam is licensed to practice in Illinois and Colorado, as well as the Northern and Southern Districts of Illinois.

Sam is an avid skier and enjoys playing golf and fly fishing in the summer time.
